● Mileage and drive time reimbursement
● Pay commensurate with experience and education, (min. $15/hour for behavior interventionists and $19/hour for case managers)
● On the job supervision and training
●ABA fieldwork supervision by a board certified behavior analyst and licensed psychologist
Behavior Interventionists
Duties and Responsibilities:
● Provide in-home and community training to clients and parents/caregivers ● Conduct direct behavioral observations and collect data ● Implement ABA techniques ● Attend monthly staff meetings ● Complete administrative forms
Qualifications/Requirements:
● Completion and proof of a BA/BS in psychology or a related field * ●Form I-9 (Employment Eligibility Verification) documentation/s verified by Vista ● Reliable transportation, valid CA driver's license, clean DMV report, proof of car insurance and be willing to drive in Los Angeles County ● Experience working with children ● TB and fingerprints clearance ● Excellent time management and organizational skills ● Internet access and basic PC knowledge ● Highly motivated and able to work independently ● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Additional Qualifications a PLUS:
● Experience with children or adults on the autism spectrum or with mental retardation and/or with challenging behaviors ● Fluency in languages besides English and/or knowledge of applied behavior analysis procedures, such as Discrete Trial Training and Pivotal Response Training
Case Managers
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Provide consultation services to school districts and regional center clients with autism and other special needs. •Background in applied behavior analysis (ABA) •Knowledge of different behavioral assessments and interventions preferred, such as Discrete Trial Training, Pivotal Response Training and natural language techniques •Problem solve with parents, tutors and school staff •Develop behavioral programs •Write assessment and progress reports
Qualifications/Requirements:
•Completion of a BA/BS in psychology AND near completion of an MA/MS in psychology or a related field* •Must have at least one year experience working with children with autism or other developmental disabilities •Units in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Discrete Trial Training (DTT), and PECS preferred •Reliable transportation, valid CA driver's license, clean DMV report, proof of car insurance and be willing to drive in Los Angeles County •TB and fingerprints clearance •Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
